Example

Example of PAS Burst Mode for 2022/01/13

Commanding

2022-01-13T04:27:30.710 OK 2022-01-13T04:27:32.462 OK 20 TC(200,160) ZIA58726 SWA TC enter all sensor in Burst Mode

The ZIA58726 TC execution acknowledgement timetag is 2022-01-13T04:27:32.462 (column #2)

Column #1 gives TC Acceptation acknowlegement (same as given in STP commanding)

BM data timetag

The column SCET (SpaceCraft Event Time) indicates when the data is acquired on board.

The column CCSDS indicates when the data is recorded in SSMM (with CCSDS packet header)

Sampling #

SCET

CCSDS time

First (1/296)

04:27:35

04:32:32

Last (296/296)

04:32:31

04:37:27

dt

296

296

So, the last sampling is currently registered in SSMM 296 + 296 = 592s after the start of acquisisition of first BM sampling.

We have also to add 3s after the TC execution acknowledgement (04:27:32 ⇒ 04:27:35)

And also 2s between the TC acceptation (04:27:30) and TC execution (04:27:32)

So, the last sampling in recorded in SSMM 592 + 2 + 3 = 597s after ZIA58726 acceptation.

List of PAS Burst mode CDF L1 files

A first file gives the number of records in solo_L1_swa-pas-3db CDF files.

Algorithm used

For each of this files (after the date of launch):

  1. Display the various daily BM periods (TARS, TECS) ⇒ TC Acceptation, TC Execution timetags

  2. Isolate all the CDF record with Sample = 1/296, and extract their date of acquisision (SCET)

  3. Search then in commanding files, the last TC ZIA58726 TARS timetag prior to this SCET

  4. Isolate corresponding CDF record with Sample = 296/296 (K = 1) and extract its date of dump in SSMM (CCSDS)

  5. Compute dt = CCSDS - TARS timetag

  6. Display SCET, CCSDS, dt
